Creator says the intent is to bridge divides

The "God Bless the USA Bible" was built-in out of conversations he had last twelvemonth with friends in the music industry about division in America, Kirkpatrick said.

They were watching statues beingness torn down during last summer's police brutality protests, questioned whether social media was eroding privacy and raised concerns nigh freedom in general, said Kirkpatrick, who also shared the genesis of the new Bible with Religion Unplugged, a New York-based news arrangement.

"We put all that together in our thinking cap and we came upward with a custom, unique, limited edition 'God Bless the USA Bible,'" Kirkpatrick said in an interview with The Tennessean.
